In loving memory of my Father

Having to leave home was the toughest decision in my life. I knew I wanted an experience of being independent, even though most parts of my life were spent being dependent but it was one of the toughest decisions I ever made.

I was blessed to have both parents raise me. My parents were the best gift from God and I won't trade them for anything in the world. My father was good looking, soft-spoken, kind-hearted, caring, diligent, calm, loving and had a good sense of humor. Bold, beautiful, kind-hearted, caring, diligent are some of the qualities of my mother.

Both my parents were a lover of God and they made us walk that path, and we all have never looked back.

My dad was a workaholic, whatever he sets his mind to do he gave it his all until it comes to fruition. He wasn't one who gets perturbed easily. I knew there were challenges sometimes but no one could tell.

He was truly a good man, For all of the times I could remember my dad has never had to go to the hospital for anything, he was always cheerful and was never ill, and how could I forget, he was a lover of politics, news, and football. He loved the Liverpool team.

I remembered the last time I saw him before he took ill and how much he tried convincing us that he will be fine.

I never knew it won't be so long before you will be  gone dad. If I had the slightest idea, I would have sat at your bedside all day and all night. It wouldn't have made so much difference though...

I don't do this always because whenever I recall your last days on Earth, It only brings tears and sadness. I know it's heaven gain but one thing can never be changed, the world has lost a good man forever.

I know you wouldn't want to see a teardrop from my eyes. I promise I won't cry, daddy. I know you are happy because you are with your maker in peace.

Continue to rest on daddy.
A special tribute to my father. 💌
It will be 8years in 5days

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

Wonders of Tumeric

Health Benefit of Tumeric: 1. Anti- Inflammation: By the many challenges of modern life. Poor diet, high stress levels, lack of sleep and poor gut health can all contribute, so it's clear that we're in great need of anything that can help to balance and reduce inflammation. 2. It provides joint support By reducing inflammation, turmeric in turn plays a huge role in providing joint support. "It's this very anti-inflammatory activity that makes turmeric supportive for joint health. Joint pain and arthritis are among the most obvious signs of inflammation. And so anything that helps to balance inflammation may relieve symptoms – or even help prevent the problem occurring in the first place." Indeed, studies have proven the spice to play an active role in reducing joint degradation and aid in joint maintenance. As a result, organisations such as Arthritis Research UK recommend turmeric as a complimentary medicine. 3. It supports digestion ...
