How to have a good networking strategy in 2020

Who else is as excited as I am? We have got less than 48 hours to 2020 and it is very important to start on a good note. Having a great network system is a good way to start the year. Whether you work in a corporate organization or you are self-employed, the way to success can be easy if you leverage the right network system. One of the things I learned from my experience as a corporate worker even as a business owner is a fact that networking is a must for anyone who wants to be successful and referrals speed up the rate of how much a business grows. So if you have been keeping to yourself in the past, you feel you are self-sufficient then think again. Here are some strategies that would help you have a great network. Attend networking events:                                 To have the right kind of people in your cycle, you need to attend as many networking events as possible. This will enable you to meet many important people, great minds and establish great contacts. If

My Special Fried rice and Coleslaw recipe

My special fried rice and cole slaw recipe: Hello everyone. How's the holiday going? Mine is going on smoothly. So I would be sharing my favourite Friend rice and Cole slaw recipe as my Xmas/ Newyear give away. Yes, you heard right. It’s a freebie... So let me introduce you all to the Ingredients Rice Groundnut oil Onions Spring onions Green pepper Pepper Carrot Sweet corn Green peas Green beans Sausage/liver ( this depends on which is available) Chicken stock Curry Thyme Seasoning cubes Preparation Wash and Parboil the rice just for few minutes.  Drain the rice and add your chicken stock to the rice, spice your rice with your curry and thyme. The curry should be enough to bring out that color in your rice. Add salt, some seasoning cubes and water enough to cook rice. Allow Rice to cook till it's soft enough to eat. Keep aside. Wash and neatly chop your vegetables and keep aside too. Wash and boil your liver till it is well cooked.

Merry Christmas to you all

Wishing you a merry xmas and a happy new year in advance From me to you ❤

Setting Boundaries

There is a time to say yes and a time to give No as an answer. No matter how kind and loving and very emotional you are, there are times you might need to say No. So as much as I hate to have my child cry over a request I can grant but there are times I need to be firm and give No as an answer for reasons best known to me. In the same vein, we should set boundaries and know when to draw the lines when dealing with others, with our relationships, and businesses. It is ok to say No, no one needs to agree with your decision. Don't suppress your needs and emotions because you want to please him or her. Setting boundaries is healthy. I have learned and practiced setting boundaries and it has helped me a great deal. It has equally helped my finance. Sometimes you might not have an item in your budget for the month, but simply because you can't say No to that friend selling an asoebi (uniform) for her wedding you inconvenience yourself, your finance to please someone else

Excerpts from The life series with Ibukun Awosika plenary session 1

I have always admired this Mrs. A from afar and she has been such an inspiration to me. Being part of the life series with Ibukun Awosika is definitely one of my highlights of 2019. It was knowledge-filled and there were so many amazing speakers present. Although the event was divided into the various sessions, we had the Entrepreneur talk first which was moderated by Mrs. Ibukun Awosika and a panel consisting of Mrs. Zaccheus Yewande, Dr. Johnson Omobola, and Mrs. Bola Adesola. Everyone had their moment of discussion. There was so much impact and I was so overwhelmed I made it to the Life series. Some extracts from Mrs. Yewande's "stepping out from the golden handcuff to pursue your dream" was being deliberate about living. She gave a brief story of how she resigned her job to pursue her dream and how she was able to build back after it seemed like she had lost all, she also stated that money shouldn't be the first reason why anyone wants to be an entrep
