Linda Lanre-Odumesi

Whenever I was asked the question, 'what's the meaning of my name?'. My response has been serpent because everyone I ever met made me believe so and the need to change it. For so long I thought Linda meant serpent and I was tired of explaining my self everytime I met someone new. All along, I never thought I should check up the meaning until I eventually did. I was amazed by what I saw. Linda actually means Beautiful while Lynda means serpent. I felt really good and felt a great relieve that I wasn't going to change it. My confidence doubled up. The next time I was asked the meaning of my name, I answered so confidently. I learnt never to give answers to questions I know nothing about. Knowledge is Power. I never really for once saw Linda to mean serpent until I saw the true meaning  and how beautiful the name Linda is. People see you differently but what truly matters is who you see. It is Good Friday today. This is a very special day for christians as it symbolises the death of Jesus, and the way he was nailed to a cross.

Social media mogul Linda Ikeji is finally engaged. Although Linda hasn't said anything yet but Sandra Ikeji (Linda's younger sister) and some other celebrities have confirmed the good news. In the past there have been so much pressure from fans about her getting married. Fans have also tried linking her up to Don Jazzy after a meme was released of the two as a pair sometimes last year. Toyin Abraham also took to her Instagram page to congratulate her. But our very own don Jazzy got so heartbroken after hearing the news, don Jazzy who has become so fond of her lately posted a pic of how sad he felt. We wish her well and hope she stays happy always.
