How to cope in a Challenging situation

Hello everyone. I am aware it's been a minute here. I've been saddled with a lot of obligations, and juggling them all has proven challenging. Prioritising has been really difficult, but it's also crucial to strike a balance between work and personal life. I'm aware that having many obligations can sometimes make us feel completely overwhelmed, which is why I'll be sharing a few strategies that have helped me succeed in demanding circumstances.

  • Identifying the Challenge
Identifying the thing you refer to as the "challenge" is the initial coping strategy. Do you need to alter anything in your routine? Do you require a piece of equipment to make housework less stressful? Perhaps you need to prepare your meals for the upcoming week. Is it possible that you are becoming proficient in your current position and require a change of scenery?... Your ability to deal with or handle an issue improves as soon as you are able to define it.

  • Planning
The following step is to create a plan. Now that the problem has been recognised, it's critical to have a plan in place for how you want to solve it or deal with it. In a planner, make a list of the things you wish to change or add to address any challenges that have been identified. It's also vital to provide a time frame, this will definitely keep you in check to ensure task is delivered effectively. A planner has personally aided my ability to maintain organisation, and I am confident it will do the same for you.

  • Scale of Preference
You now have a plan, but some tasks must be completed quickly since they are more crucial. It can be that you require a dish washer or that you should prepare meals more frequently. Here, you'll need to adjust your scale of priorities so that the most pressing needs come first. I used to act impulsively and complete tasks of lesser importance, but I've seen that the stress still persists. However, since learning to use a scale of preference, it's been a terrific coping mechanism in difficult circumstances.

  • Take a break
It is time for a break if you are struggling or in a difficult circumstance. I don't intend to suggest quitting your job, but refrain from utilising your break time to complete unfinished business at the office or household duties. Play some games with the kids, listen to some music, chat with friends, or just do anything unusual that makes you happy.

  • Be Positive minded and neutralise fear
Maintain a positive outlook; you are already facing a struggle; the best thing you can do is to be bold and positive-minded, find a solution to whatever problem you are facing, and that will help you focus your energy on being more productive.

Most essential, have faith that whatever it is you may be enduring is only temporary. Having faith in God gives you more assurance that you will overcome whatever is ailing you and emerge from it stronger.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight"

My birthday Thanksgiving/ Thanksgiving Jar

Hello friends, It's been a moment. Today is the 21st of May 2021, how amazing! Yesterday was so special to me, not only because several years ago on the 20th of May my joyful parents received a perfect gift from God but because looking back all I can see is the mighty hands of God. I got very heartwarming messages and I am eternally grateful for it. With our busy schedule taking out time to drop a message for me means I matter, and I truly appreciate you all. The previous year had its challenges but there is nothing as joyful as winning a war. I pray God shows up for you all amid the storm. I can't do without talking about the goodness of the mighty God. He is the reason I celebrated and was celebrated. All the glory belongs to him. To my immediate family My husband, Children, Mother, brothers, and sisters, you are the best thing after Jesus and I love you always. To my friends you all are special. I am grateful to have celebrated yesterday with you all. Every day of our lives...

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...
