Why you shouldn't be "matter" ?

Good morning everyone, the past 11days have been very devastating. Losing a loved one  be very difficult to live with and understanding the reality of such an event is even more strenuous. I have been away from the blog for a while, I couldn't even think straight this past few days, getting motivation has been the grace of God. One interesting thing about my mum in law was how impactful she was. Everyone who knew her knew she was a helper and great support, fearless, jovial and vibrant. Although these are few of the qualities she possessed. Growing up when we were asked what matter was, we chanted matter is everything that has weight and occupies space. Have you been acting like "matter"? Of course, you are human first, you have weight and occupy space, but there is more to it. Life should be impactful and we should be conscious of living daily impactful life. Living with no significant difference should be worrisome as individuals. What does it profit a man if...

In loving memory of my Father

Having to leave home was the toughest decision in my life. I knew I wanted an experience of being independent, even though most parts of my life were spent being dependent but it was one of the toughest decisions I ever made. I was blessed to have both parents raise me. My parents were the best gift from God and I won't trade them for anything in the world. My father was good looking, soft-spoken, kind-hearted, caring, diligent, calm, loving and had a good sense of humor. Bold, beautiful, kind-hearted, caring, diligent are some of the qualities of my mother. Both my parents were a lover of God and they made us walk that path, and we all have never looked back. My dad was a workaholic, whatever he sets his mind to do he gave it his all until it comes to fruition. He wasn't one who gets perturbed easily. I knew there were challenges sometimes but no one could tell. He was truly a good man, For all of the times I could remember my dad has never had to go to the hospital fo...

Wonder who Kobe Bryant was?

I scrolled through my feeds yesterday and I saw a particular face everywhere. I became curious and wanted to know who this person was. I found out he was a basketball player. I have never really been a lover of basketball and I know basketball isn’t a game for all. There are certain features and characteristics an individual must possess before you can be called a basketball player. Inasmuch as I wanted to know who he was, I also felt really sad about his demise and wondered why a young man would be gone too soon. Well God has all the answers. The young man was Kobe Bryant, an outstanding basketball player and if you wonder why you could and can still see pictures of him on friends social media feeds and status. This is what to know.            He isn’t just called a legend in Basketball but for the records, he was an American Professional Basketball player who has played his entire 20-season career in the National Basketball Association with the Los...

Great saving tips for your family

Hello everyone, thank you for your amazing feedback. So today I will be sharing, my best money-saving tips. I hope this helps you too. My first tip is always to buy groceries in bulk and avoid buying on impulse:- Impulse spending isn't good for savings and having a scale of preference is the way to go. It is cheaper to buy things in bulk than to buy them in the unit. This will help save you time and money, and also keep you organized for the month. It can also give you a good insight into planning for the future. Secondly Do not store up things that you no longer need:- Most people tend to hold onto things they no longer need. It is very important to declutter your house. You could give out things for charity or can also put them up for sale on www.jiji.ng indicating your terms and price for purchase. This way you won’t only have space in your house but also money in your pocket. The third tip is to buy only what you can afford:- there is no point putting yourself...
