Great saving tips for your family

Hello everyone, thank you for your amazing feedback. So today I will be sharing, my best money-saving tips. I hope this helps you too.

  • My first tip is always to buy groceries in bulk and avoid buying on impulse:- Impulse spending isn't good for savings and having a scale of preference is the way to go. It is cheaper to buy things in bulk than to buy them in the unit. This will help save you time and money, and also keep you organized for the month. It can also give you a good insight into planning for the future.

  • Secondly Do not store up things that you no longer need:- Most people tend to hold onto things they no longer need. It is very important to declutter your house. You could give out things for charity or can also put them up for sale on www.jiji.ng indicating your terms and price for purchase. This way you won’t only have space in your house but also money in your pocket.

  • The third tip is to buy only what you can afford:- there is no point putting yourself or your family through financial pressure and eating more than you can chew. Living a very contentious life is paramount. If you can afford to go for me if you can’t wait till you can. You would definitely be able to afford it someday.
  • Fourthly, health is wealth and Prevention is better than cure:- It’s a new year and we should take good care of ourselves and watch out for others. Don’t just eat because it is food, think of the health benefits and if it’s the right thing to eat. Too much of everything is bad. It’s important to eat a balanced diet and also exercise to stay fit.  You can save yourself the stress of having to visit the hospital regularly if you sleep under a mosquito net and keep your environment clean and free from mosquitoes. Investing in this will save you a lot of money and time.

  • Never you buy “off the shelf”: whenever you plan to buy something, especially something really expensive surf the web, or ask questions for various prices, be sure to get the best purchase price before committing to it, this will help you save some money.
  • You can buy clothing in thrift or discount stores:- Since kids outgrow their clothes so quickly, while waste so much on a pair of jeans while you can get several more for that same price at a thrift store.

  • Lastly, it is important to save at least a minimum of 20% of your net pay. This gives you more control over your planning and taking proper care of your family.
What is that tip that has helped your family in planning your finance? Willing to share, then I would be looking forward to hearing from you too. Have a lovely weekend.

Linda❤️

My birthday Thanksgiving/ Thanksgiving Jar

Hello friends, It's been a moment. Today is the 21st of May 2021, how amazing! Yesterday was so special to me, not only because several years ago on the 20th of May my joyful parents received a perfect gift from God but because looking back all I can see is the mighty hands of God. I got very heartwarming messages and I am eternally grateful for it. With our busy schedule taking out time to drop a message for me means I matter, and I truly appreciate you all. The previous year had its challenges but there is nothing as joyful as winning a war. I pray God shows up for you all amid the storm. I can't do without talking about the goodness of the mighty God. He is the reason I celebrated and was celebrated. All the glory belongs to him. To my immediate family My husband, Children, Mother, brothers, and sisters, you are the best thing after Jesus and I love you always. To my friends you all are special. I am grateful to have celebrated yesterday with you all. Every day of our lives...

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...
