Procrastination, the killer of Time

Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something. I do that a lot of times but I notice that once I get it done when it should be done i.e doing the right thing at the right time because the moment you start delaying a thing, time won't stop ticking.

It is high time you stop giving excuses for why you can't get it done and start seeing reasons why it should be done. So many people are carried away with social media that they have forgotten about themselves. they are so involved in other peoples lives that they have forgotten to apply the rules and values they have learned into theirs.

Whenever I have an idea, I  must not procrastinate or else I will lose it. if I must accomplish a task the more I keep delaying the more it seems difficult to accomplish such task. That business idea that you have been delaying and postponing, put it to action, and start now, a year from now you would wish you had started today. Remember tomorrow is the only day in the year that appeals to a lazy man.

What happens if a man sits for an exam and keeps postponing reading for the examination? he is sure of embracing failure right! Time waits for no man. Create time for everything, set your priorities right and have a to-do list per day. This will help you be a better and disciplined individual. Spending time for unnecessary things will be ruled out.

Recently I watched a youtube video of Dangote, where the interviewer asked him if he worked for 12 hours daily but i was amazed when he said the least he does was 18hours per day but do you know so many people are on the internet daily without adding values but are interested in getting updates of others. I remember the very words of Bishop David Oyedepo "I don't watch the news but I make the news", interesting right!

The earlier you discover yourself and what you want to do with your life the more calculative you would be about your time. Time is too expensive to lose, Time once lost is lost forever. If you have had regrets in the past, there is no way you can undo the past and change anything but you have the present and that is why every time of yours must count to give you that future you so desire.

Never you give in to procrastination. Delay or postpone if you have to but for the right reasons.
Never you do tomorrow what you can do today.

I would love to hear from you.

Please subscribe and share with your friends.
God bless!

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...

How to cope in a Challenging situation

Hello everyone. I am aware it's been a minute here. I've been saddled with a lot of obligations, and juggling them all has proven challenging. Prioritising has been really difficult, but it's also crucial to strike a balance between work and personal life. I'm aware that having many obligations can sometimes make us feel completely overwhelmed, which is why I'll be sharing a few strategies that have helped me succeed in demanding circumstances.                               Identifying the Challenge Identifying the thing you refer to as the "challenge" is the initial coping strategy. Do you need to alter anything in your routine? Do you require a piece of equipment to make housework less stressful? Perhaps you need to prepare your meals for the upcoming week. Is it possible that you are becoming proficient in your current position and require a change of scenery?... Your ability to deal with or handle an issue im...
