She inspires me...

Hello everyone, How's the weekend going? Mine was busy and I am looking forward to a new week. So yesterday I was in a friend's house and something popped up on tv which caught my attention. I was so emotional about the whole thing and was a bit teary but i felt so inspired.

I am sure most of us have heard of the name " Kechi Okwuchi", she was one of the survivors of the Sosoliso Airline Flight 1145, she was also a contestant and a finalist of the twelfth season of America's Got talent. She received third-degree burns from the plane crash. This was a flight that claimed 107 lives of which 60 were her school mates and she was the only one who made it amongst them.
Kechi before and after the plane crash

Kechi is an inspiration to many. with the kind of burns she sustained, so many others would have committed suicide, fallen into depression or wished they were dead. Do not get me wrong, I am not saying she never had her downs but the truth still remains she is who she is and her appearance can't change who she is. She must have suffered severe burns, but she is still that great lady, she still stands tall, she is bold, she is confident, she knows who she sees when she looks in the mirror.

She never gave up, that crash couldn't stop her greatness. Giving up is never an option. You failed the first time, so! that's the reason why you shouldn't the next time. Do not allow anyone, any condition or any situation limit you. This I learned from this amazing lady Kechi.

Do you know you can be your own limitation if your inner self keeps discouraging and shutting your positive thoughts, then achieving anything becomes impossible? No matter the condition, find your strength and believe you can do anything. The situation may not be the perfect scenario but do not relent to keep pressing forward. There is no excuse for wanting to commit suicide, always speak the positive and silence the negative.

Kechi Okwuchi inspires me. Who inspires you?

Have a wonderful week ahead.

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...

How to cope in a Challenging situation

Hello everyone. I am aware it's been a minute here. I've been saddled with a lot of obligations, and juggling them all has proven challenging. Prioritising has been really difficult, but it's also crucial to strike a balance between work and personal life. I'm aware that having many obligations can sometimes make us feel completely overwhelmed, which is why I'll be sharing a few strategies that have helped me succeed in demanding circumstances.                               Identifying the Challenge Identifying the thing you refer to as the "challenge" is the initial coping strategy. Do you need to alter anything in your routine? Do you require a piece of equipment to make housework less stressful? Perhaps you need to prepare your meals for the upcoming week. Is it possible that you are becoming proficient in your current position and require a change of scenery?... Your ability to deal with or handle an issue im...
