My simple homemade Hamburger

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing great and having a fun-filled weekend. In all we do, let's maintain proper hygiene and stay calm amidst the global pandemic coronavirus. God will protect us all. Amen!

So yesterday I decided to try something different and it came out really yummy, I would be sharing this amazing recipe of how I made this delicious hamburger with you all. It's easy to make and I bet it will be perfect as breakfast or as a snack for kids.

By the way, I am blogging from Ibadan, Nigeria and if you reside in Ibadan I will be stating where I got all the major ingredients I used for my hamburger.

You will need some
  • Bread rolls - N350 (mosh/food supermarket)
  • Some cabbage - this can be gotten from any market.
  • Lettuce
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Chicken patty - N1600 per pack ( Zartech)
  • Mayonnaise and lastly
  • Ketchup
Procedure:-
  • Rinse all vegetables, then chop into the desired size (preferably small)  and set aside.
  • Fried the chicken patty and set aside. If you prefer grilling you can go with that.
  • Pour the ketchup and mayonnaise into a small bowl and mix together.
Then finally, cut the bread rolls into 2 equal part so it opens more than halfway.

For the dressing/finishing:
  • Take a bread roll, open it up and spread the mixture of the mayonnaise and ketchup on it
  • Then neatly add the already fried chicken patty then the tomatoes, onions, cabbage and lastly the lettuce. You could add more mixture if you want, and voila hamburger is ready to eat and was served with a cup of cold tea.
You could serve with a cup of hot or cold tea or coffee or a cold juice.

I had fun making this simple snack. I hope you do too.

If you have an alternate method kindly share in the comment section. I would be waiting to hear from you.

Have a lovely weekend
Linda❤

Ps:  I didn't add any spice to the chicken patty because it was already spiced.

My birthday Thanksgiving/ Thanksgiving Jar

Hello friends, It's been a moment. Today is the 21st of May 2021, how amazing! Yesterday was so special to me, not only because several years ago on the 20th of May my joyful parents received a perfect gift from God but because looking back all I can see is the mighty hands of God. I got very heartwarming messages and I am eternally grateful for it. With our busy schedule taking out time to drop a message for me means I matter, and I truly appreciate you all. The previous year had its challenges but there is nothing as joyful as winning a war. I pray God shows up for you all amid the storm. I can't do without talking about the goodness of the mighty God. He is the reason I celebrated and was celebrated. All the glory belongs to him. To my immediate family My husband, Children, Mother, brothers, and sisters, you are the best thing after Jesus and I love you always. To my friends you all are special. I am grateful to have celebrated yesterday with you all. Every day of our lives...

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...
