How to make Gizdodo-Special

Gizdodo is an all-time favorite, this meal is so delicious and from the name, you already have a good guess that this delicacy is made up of two major ingredients Gizzard and Plantain.

It is served as an appetizer in most parties or a side dish. It is easy to make. when I have this on the menu at home, the whole family is excited 😁.

For this recipe, you will need
  • Gizzard
  • Plantain
  • Green bell pepper
  • Vegetable oil
  • Red bell pepper
  • Tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Spice
  • Seasoning cubes
The first thing to do is prep your ingredients. Prepping your ingredients is very important, this will help save time and avoid stress.

Chopping vegetables is something that shouldn't be done in a hurry, that's if you want finely chopped vegetables. It's important to chop the green pepper, red bell pepper, onions, and pepper into medium dice. Also, cut the plantain into medium dice.

Ensure you wash your gizzards and rinse, then put your pot on medium heat. Add the washed gizzard, add the seasoning, salt, and seasoning cubes. Allow boiling for some minutes. When ready, allow gizzard to cool down.

The next thing you want to do is to blend some tomatoes, red bell pepper, scotch bonnett pepper, and green pepper and set aside.

Preheat your frypan with some vegetable oil in it. When hot fry the gizzards, ensure you stir at interval. When golden allover take them all out.

Fry the plantain on medium heat, stir at interval till its slightly golden. Remove when ready.

The next thing you want to do is to heat up some vegetable oil, add some diced onions, the blended peppers and allow this heat up for few minutes, add some seasoning cubes, spice, and salt, stir and allow fry for a while.

The next thing is to add the fried gizzard and fried plantain till its exhausted. Stir and taste for salt. You can also garnish using some green bell pepper and red bell pepper.

This recipe is a hit, please try this and tell me what you think of it.

My birthday Thanksgiving/ Thanksgiving Jar

Hello friends, It's been a moment. Today is the 21st of May 2021, how amazing! Yesterday was so special to me, not only because several years ago on the 20th of May my joyful parents received a perfect gift from God but because looking back all I can see is the mighty hands of God. I got very heartwarming messages and I am eternally grateful for it. With our busy schedule taking out time to drop a message for me means I matter, and I truly appreciate you all. The previous year had its challenges but there is nothing as joyful as winning a war. I pray God shows up for you all amid the storm. I can't do without talking about the goodness of the mighty God. He is the reason I celebrated and was celebrated. All the glory belongs to him. To my immediate family My husband, Children, Mother, brothers, and sisters, you are the best thing after Jesus and I love you always. To my friends you all are special. I am grateful to have celebrated yesterday with you all. Every day of our lives...

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...
