Random Post!!!

Hello friends, it's been a while here, and I decided to put up a random post. How have you all been dealing with the increase in the numbers of cases on a daily basis, scary right!

I saw a post yesterday on Instablog  and decided to put it up here. All you doubting the corona virus is real and it isn't a scam. Like seriously! would you get serious already. This thing is real....

As seen on instablog:

It is important you know the virus is real and everyone should take precautions for your own good.

The last few days has been filled with a lot of tears and tributes. Former miss lux, who was married to the general overseer of Trinity House church " Pastor Ituah Ighodalo" passed unto glory. It was really a sad one. I  do not know her personally but she is someone I have admired from afar. She impacted so many and I truly pray God strengthens and comfort the family she left behind.

The beautiful Mrs. Ighodalo was the reason so many homes are blessed with babies today. After going through failed Ivf 11 times, she started a foundation to help parents struggling with having children. God rest her soul. Amen

Also, Dan Foster of cool FM  a.k.a "Big Dawg", passed on. He was said to have died from Corona virus complication. He was a veteran in Radio Broadcast with many years of experience. There was an outpour of emotions on social media as friends and colleagues paid tributes to him.
God rest his soul. Amen.

Now what do you all think of the rainy season, I heard it's been raining cat and dog in lagos. How is it in your region?. I have always preferred a sunny day than a rainy day though. The Presidential task force has been speculating that the rainy season my lead to an increase in the daily number of cases. Hmmmmmm!

For a long time I haven't checked ncdc to know what the number is but I was alarmed when I did today. I saw 745 new cases. how did we get here? The last time I checked it was over a 100 cases and now this....

God help Nigeria, the world at large and show us mercy. All we need now is the mercy of God.

What do you think about churches, mosques and schools opening up?

Let me what your opinion is in the comment section and if you would prefer more random posts. Kindly indicate in the comment section.

Please stay safe!
Linda 🥰

GOOD BYE TO 2024 : WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR 2025!

Greetings, Friends Since I haven't been here in a long time, I know that some of you must have moved on, even though I know that many of you would be speculating about my return. I'm apologizing publicly for being away for so long. To be honest, 2024 was a lot for me; I needed to do more reflection. Let us begin the new year with a heartfelt congrats. I'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. We can never get 2024 back, no matter how much we make or lose. It has only been added to a list of the years you have spent on this planet. It's only the second day of the year, but it's already a new year. Here's a little math exercise: We have 363 days remaining if we subtract two days from the 365-day year. This means that we have plenty of time to get our plans for the year off the ground. Watch this space because I will be sharing a lot with you this year. I pray that the new year brings us all good health, joy, peace, love, and unity and that we continue to be acc...

My Uk life Series - The Beginning (Planning)

Hi Friends, This has been long overdue but I think I am in a good place to begin this series. Travelling has never been something on my list. Even as kids, I would constantly say I loved it in my home country ‘Nigeria’ and wasn’t going anywhere. I never knew God had other plans. I recalled making enquiries about Canada’s Permanent Residency and how you had to take the IELTS as part of the requirement. All of a sudden, I was intrigued and tried it. I also made an effort to persuade my husband to do the same, but he shared my perspective and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of living abroad. In any case, we both completed the IELTS and got started on the procedure, but we gave it up since we had a more important assignment that needed our full focus.   In 2021, we decided to relocate to the United Kingdom. At first, it was difficult because I was only starting to adjust to a new state and environment after resigning my 9 to 5 job, and now I had to relocate once more. I wasn't...

How to cope in a Challenging situation

Hello everyone. I am aware it's been a minute here. I've been saddled with a lot of obligations, and juggling them all has proven challenging. Prioritising has been really difficult, but it's also crucial to strike a balance between work and personal life. I'm aware that having many obligations can sometimes make us feel completely overwhelmed, which is why I'll be sharing a few strategies that have helped me succeed in demanding circumstances.                               Identifying the Challenge Identifying the thing you refer to as the "challenge" is the initial coping strategy. Do you need to alter anything in your routine? Do you require a piece of equipment to make housework less stressful? Perhaps you need to prepare your meals for the upcoming week. Is it possible that you are becoming proficient in your current position and require a change of scenery?... Your ability to deal with or handle an issue im...
